Software House
About the Client
Our client is a local software house specializing in the development of custom software and digital consulting in areas such as Workflow Automation, Digital Sales, and Industry 4.0. It operates mainly in the European market, offering its services to companies looking for solutions tailored to their business model. In mid-2023, they came to us with a need to rethink and redesign their website and to implement an SEO strategy that would allow them to gain visibility and high-quality organic leads.
Challenges
The software house market is highly crowded and dominated by larger players. Breaking through with organic visibility required a precisely chosen strategy and building topical authority.
The site generated very little traffic from search engines, and potential clients came mainly from referrals or other channels. There was a shortage of quality leads originating from SEO activities.
The site’s existing architecture and suboptimal content made indexing difficult, caused keyword cannibalization, and did not support expert visibility in search.
Our Solutions
The collaboration began with strategic workshops, during which we worked with the client to map out their business resources, constraints, and marketing goals. This laid the groundwork for a precise SEO strategy based on a semantic approach to content creation. The key implementation steps included:
1. Website migration and technical SEO
Launching the new version of the website was a key moment that could significantly affect SEO performance. That is why we managed the entire migration process with great care, to ensure a smooth transition and eliminate potential technical issues that could negatively affect site performance or the user experience. This included, among other things, optimizing page load speed, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and improving the site structure to make it easier for search engine bots to index and crawl the site.
We paid particular attention to optimizing the meta tags on the client’s service pages. Meta tags play a key role in communicating with search engines, so refining them translated into better visibility and relevance for as many as thirty service pages in search results.
2. Building Topical Authority and content strategy
To establish the client’s position as an industry leader, we focused on building Topical Authority—that is, having search engines perceive the site as a credible source of knowledge in specific areas. The strategy was based on three pillars aligned with the client’s competencies: Workflow Automation, Digital Sales, and Industry 4.0.
- Topical map: We developed a comprehensive topical map tailored to the ideal customer profile (ICP). It formed the basis for content creation, ensuring that every publication was substantive, relevant, and responsive to the real needs of the audience.
- Content creation: Within the agreed budget, we implemented a content strategy involving the regular publication of 7–10 blog posts per month. Each article was based on user intent, answering specific questions and addressing the problems of potential clients. This allowed us to attract valuable traffic and build the brand’s expert image.

- Case studies and visual content: Beyond blog posts, we also strategically developed case studies as the next step in the user’s conversion path. They presented the client’s specific successes, building trust and convincing visitors to use our client’s services. These were complemented by attractive visual content, including infographics and optimized header graphics, which increased the site’s appeal and supported conversions, effectively moving the user further down the sales funnel.
Results
Within just six months of implementing our strategy, the client saw impressive results:
Traffic and visibility:
- A 110% increase in organic traffic – we achieved stable, steady growth in visibility that held up without any drops, even during periods when Google Core Updates were rolled out. This is the best proof of the durability and effectiveness of the chosen SEO strategy.
- A Featured Snippet in Google – thanks to a comprehensive approach to topics, the client’s content qualified for Google Snippets, competing with the most influential sites in the industry. This visibility translated into greater brand recognition, established trust, and valuable traffic.
Sales and lead generation:
- 150 MQLs and 5 SQLs acquired solely from organic traffic – all of these results were achieved without the support of PPC campaigns, backlink activities, or remarketing. Even so, the leads acquired were well-informed, aware of the offer, and ready to act, which significantly accelerated the sales process and shortened the decision-making path.
- An excellent fit with the ICP – all the leads perfectly matched the ideal customer profile, which streamlined the later sales stages.
- A sales pipeline worth USD 271,000 – all of these results were achieved solely through organic traffic, without the support of paid campaigns. With an SEO budget of just USD 6,362, this represents an exceptionally high return on investment and demonstrates the effectiveness of the adopted strategy.
Summary
According to our client, the leads acquired through our content were highly motivated and engaged. Our efforts effectively attracted a niche target audience and significantly shortened the sales process. Importantly, the leads came mainly from the United Kingdom and Denmark—the key markets on which the client’s business focuses.
